West Bali National Park is the most north westerly point of Bali. It includes the whole of the Prapat Agung Peninsula, and large swathes of land around the towns of Gilimanuk, Cekik and Banyuwedang. Area the park boundaries is 190 square kilometres, with a further 580 square kilometress of protected reserve in the highlands to the east. In total this accounts for some ten percent of Bali's total land area. The habitat in West Bali National Park is very varied with rain forest, dry savanna, acacia scrub, lowland forests, montane forests in the higher centre and there are also some pockets of dense mangrove forest.

The park is surrounded by six villages with a varied ethnic population (Balinese, Javanese, Madurese and Bugis). Administratively these villages are either governed by the districts of Buleleng or Jembrana. In the north of the park there is an obvious north jutting peninsula called Prapat Agung. Around this peninsula there are long stretches of protected beach and offshore coral reef as well, as a small offshore island called Menjangan is a very popular diving destination.

There are one hundred and sixty species of bird have been recorded in the park, including the near extinct Bali Starling, Bali's only endemic vertebrate species. Mammals which found inside the park include Banteng, a species of wild cattle from which the familiar Bali cows are descended. Java deer and Indian Muntjac deer are quite widespread, and Menjangan Island is in fact named after these Menjangan means deer.

Subak Museum

It is a museum collecting ancient agricultural equipment owned by Balinese at former epoch, which can give the picture how Balinese do its rice field with the simple agricultural equipment and also have very good irrigation system.

Soka Beach is now growing as a tourist destination with the beautiful black sandy beach and magnificent view of sunset. Soka Beach has been a lot of visited by tourist especially local tourist during the holiday season. It offers the beautiful panorama of the Indian Ocean and the carpet of rice field with beautiful rice terrace make this place is suitable place to be visited.


Rambut Siwi Temple
It is a unique temple located at the sea side having artistic value with high historical. This Temple is built at two places, one on the coastal base right on the black sand and another one is on the high bank.


Bali West National Park
It is a protected forest exists in Negara/Jembrana regency that is protecting flora and. In Bali National Park there are very scarce Starling and recognized by the name of Jalak Bali which is felt concerned about and it will be totally disappeared. If you are lucky you will see this bird with beautiful white fur.
